1.Day to day activity evolving around skincare?

My Day-to-day activities involving skin care are very regular. I make sure that I splash cold water on my face the moment I wake up and then I use a toner. Once I have had my bath, I use a good moisturizer and a sunscreen for sure. At least twice a week I try to use a face mask for detoxification and sometimes just for relaxation. At night, I make sure that I remove all my makeup properly and I use a very good face wash. I also like to exfoliate my skin twice a week. Before going to sleep, I like to use a facial serum mixed with some good night cream and eye gel. So whatever the time is, whatever the season is, I don’t miss out on my facial regime.

2. Is age just a number for looks or does it imply to your way of thinking and health as well?
Age is definitely just a number, but somewhere down the line the energy one has when in their 20s, slows down but my will power and enthusiasm keeps me going, so obviously, for me age is just a number because nothing stops in my life. I’m as active as I was but yes, I do get tired; but I think at every age, everyone gets tired. Because in my business I’m mostly surrounded with very beautiful young young girls, whether they are my students or my brides. I think that’s what keeps my thinking and my enthusiasm quite active.
I personally feel that it’s all up to you as to how you want to live your life and how you want to think, if you want to think old or you want to think young and ultimately, the mentality of our own self starts showing on our face and body.

3. Do you feel like there is a generation gap between you and the current generation?
I feel that there is lot of generation gap between me and the current generation. I do not find many positive things in the current generation except that they are very tech savvy, very active on social media and extremely active on a lot of gadgets. They want quick gain and quick fame without actually working too hard which is something I feel is totally lacking in this generation. I think we were the last of the generation which was very hardworking and we were ambitious. The current generation lives in a delusion, an illusionary world which can be disastrous for them. Nonetheless, I see many talented children around me who prove me wrong and I hope and pray that the current generation also has a vision to work harder. Life has its own phases and its own destiny which the new generation has to learn.

I feel that beauty is the overall personality. Positive thoughts, a positive state of mind and feelings of self confidence and self worth are the most important because you are what you feel. Right diet and regular exercise are major factors that contribute towards good health.
My skin routine is very simple and close to nature. I start my day with 3 glasses of lemon water with honey and fresh Aloe Vera gel. I have a gooseberry plant at home which enables me to have fresh Amla (gooseberry ) hand grated squeezed juice, along with raw turmeric, few nuts, one date and prune. I consume all the mentioned delicacies within half an hour of water intake. Then I do some facial exercises, Pranayam and Yoga, and I’m all set for the day. During the day I keep on having loads of water and apply sunscreen and vitamin C serum. Before sleeping, I massage my face with almond oil that I get using my own almonds and I add saffron to it.

I think it’s our duty to take good care of our skin since when we look good, we feel good and thus, we remain happy. I apply makeup only when I’m going out. At home, I only apply lip balm and use less gadgets as they harm your eyes and skin. I also try to meditate to attain peace of mind which shows on your face and skin. My motto is to love well, laugh well and live well, and your skin will automatically be radiant.

1. Day to day activity evolving around skincare?
I am a strong believer of the saying “Young by SKIN and Heart”. I follow some basic day routine to maintain my skin. I start my day with a glass of Luke warm water since we know that our body itself is more than 50% water, so water is the best way to detoxify our body. It rejuvenates and purifies our system which in turns gets reflected on our face. I also make sure that I have a handful of nuts and green tea. We can find green tea creams in the market but since I believe more on improving internally rather than improvement by application of cream, I include green tea in my routine which is full of antioxidants and it nourishes my skin. My morning workout is the key to my skin and my body. I never miss my morning workout which includes some yoga, Zumba and aerobics. So, if you wish to have a beautiful skin and body you have to opt for the long-term measures rather than short terms. Exercise and diet have a long-term impact, and they keep my skin the way it is now at an age of 34, I still feel young enough.

2. Is age just a number for looks or does it imply to your way of thinking and health as well?
Yes, for me Age is just a number, what is important is your mindset. Your mindset and the way you adapt things will bring magical changes in your body which you never even imagined. Exercise improves my health which in turns makes me more active and quick in reactions i.e. improves my thinking capacity. I believe Exercise and looks are directly proportional to each other, the better and continuous I exercise the better and beautiful my body and skin feel which in turn brings confidence in me. I generally use the phrase Young Mum in my sessions, which means mothers can also look sexy and young by changing themselves and eliminating those extra kilos by mindset and exercise.

3. Generation gap
Yes, I believe there is a generation gap between me and current generation but I have bridged this gap with my regular exercise routines. In my sessions, I have females of different age groups: school going, college going, housewives, working women, professionals, as well as grandmothers. By this I want to convey that I am moving forward by taking all the generations with me and leaving no one behind. My motto is to make every female Fit and to make her feel beautiful in herself which I am achieving through exercise and diet.

“Chalte chalo Chalte Chalo Rukna nahi hai , Ruke toh Ruke hi Reh jaoge” is my phrase which I follow in lifestyle as well.

1. What are your day to day activities evolving around skincare?
I apply face pack once a week and Aloe Vera twice a week. Night cream or night serum is a must for me before sleeping. Anti pollution mask once a week from Sephora and face scrub once a week to remove dead skin and dirt.

2. Is age just a number for looks or does it imply to your way of thinking and health as well?
Age, as a number, never defines who you are and how you should look. It’s all about what you eat, what kind of nutrition you provide to your body for the proper functioning of your organs and also how you maintain your skin along with some physical activities like Yoga. A healthy and balanced lifestyle is all that is required to look healthy and beautiful, irrespective of your age.

3. Do you feel like there is a generation gap between you and the current generation?
Yes, of course. The age difference between me and my children is of 25 years, so I do feel the generation gap between us.

2. Is age just a number for looks or does it imply to your way of thinking and health as well?
In my opinion age does not really matter but what really matters is how fit and beautiful you look at every stage of life. Fitness, healthy food habits ,drinking plenty of water is the mystery to my ageless beauty.

3. Do you feel like there is a generation gap between you and the current generation?
I think that you should adapt yourself according to the present generation and keep yourself updated to keep up in today’s world and interact with people of all age groups.
